Move Machine

The “Move Machine” functionality can be used by machine operators to replicate the physical move of the machine in mCom ONE, e.g. when the machine is sold or moved to another site.

The workflow to use this funtion is as following:

  1. Go on the “Settings” menu item

  2. At “Companies” you are able to search for the right machine to move by clicking on the right shown three dots and either “Manage Sites” to receive an overview of the sites or “Manage Machines” to receive an overview of all your machines

  3. To move a particular machine, click on the three dots to the right of that machine and choose “Move Machine”

  4. The pop up allows you to choose the “Site” where you want to move the machine to and also the “Target Project”

  5. When clicking on “Move” mCom ONE will automatically remove the machine from the “Source Project” and will move it into the “Target Project”.

Limitations in terms of use of this funtion are:

  • The “to be moved” machine can only be existing in one project before conducting the move

  • The “Target Project” has to be in place before conducting the move of the machine

Warning: This funtionality should be used carefully as the machine will be removed from “Source Project” and will be moved to “Target Project”.

Extended Assessment Copy/Paste

We have extended mCom ONE’s functionality to copy/paste assessments. Now it also covers the use case of copy/pasting information from one assessment to another assessment, even if they have different assessment types as basis. You can decide if hazards should be pasted also - if the assessment types are different, they will show as unlinked and can be linked to the checkpoints of the assessment later on.

The workflow to use this funtion is as following:

  1. Go on the “Projects” menu item

  2. Choose the project of which you want to copy assessment results from by clicking on that specific project than click on “Machines” - to the right you will find the three dots for each assessment where you can then click on “Copy Assessment”

  3. Choose the target project where you want to paste these assessment results by again clicking on “Machines” and the three right dots on “Paste Assessment”

  4. Within the “Paste Assessment” pop up you can now choose the content to paste. If you also click “Assessment (Hazards)”, you have the additional possibility to decide if you also want “Hazard Photos” and “Accepted Hazards” to be pasted. Hazards will become unlinked and can then be linked to checkpoints later on.
